Xahumba Engineering Consulting Pty (Ltd) (XEC) is a professional engineering firm providing
consulting and construction services with focus to the disciplines of Electrical,
Electronic and Mechanical Engineering. The firm also provides turnkey solutions for
renewable energy projects and solar systems in particular. XEC engineers also have a vast
experience in Project Management. The firm is a level 1BBBEE company that fulfills
outsourcing needs of Municipalities, Energy Authorities, Parastatals, Government departments
and agencies, Industrial plants and Private Companies.
Xahumba Engineering Consulting was founded in the year 2010 with the objective of being a
consulting engineering firm small enough to afford personal involvement from its directors
and associates, not only on all its projects, but also to maintain direct personal contact
with its clients. It was firmly believed that this will enable the firm to deliver a
dynamic service to clients, with the added assurance that their interests are well looked
after by the stakeholders of the company.
Initially, the company was registered as a close-corporation with registration number
2010/072044/23, but due to company growth, the management decided to convert the company
to a private company with a new registration number 2017/233207/07. Due to this conversion,
everything that was under Xahumba Engineering Consulting CC have been transferred to
Xahumba Engineering Consulting (Pty) Ltd, directorship and management of the firm remains
the same, only the registration number has changed.
Our code of conduct complies with the Engineering Council of South Africa’s (ECSA) (Rules
in terms of the Engineering Profession of South Africa Act of 2000). The company’s
competitive edge is based on quality, capacity and service delivery on a life cycle bases.
Costs do not play a major role as these are set by the councils. Xahumba Engineering
Consulting is 100% South African, Owned and Controlled by Previously Disadvantaged
Individuals; with BBBEE rating of Level one (1). We believe in meaningful participation by
Black people in the economy of the country, in line with South African demographics,
however still acknowledging the technical strengths of the other races. The organization
is under the leadership of Black Professional individuals who are Members of the
Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the South African Institute of Electrical
Engineers (SAIEE).
Xahumba Engineering offers services including Project management from the inception of a project
through all the phases of the project cycle including implementation and handing
over to the client.
